Blessings...

My buddy Chan is having a contest, head on over & check out the rules, there is gonna be lots of great prizes! So for my part here I'm listing a few things that make me feel blessed....

• A wonderful husband, who is sweet & totally "gets" me, even if it is frustrating to him sometimes. :)
• A wonderful & selfless Step-son (who I consider my own). And who is now heading to his job school with the US Marines a long way from us! We miss him...
• My furbaby, Jasmine
• Awesome friends
• And I do feel blessed to have our home & a job with the economy like it is. While it has been hard on us there are people out there who have it far worse.

I could go on & on but those are the most important ones to me.

And I have a few finished projects to show you! First up is my Vine Stitch Wrap. This pattern is in the book Vogue Knitting on the Go. This has been on the needles for quite a long time. One of those UFO's floating around the house forever. I finally picked it up last week & got it done. I was tired of it constantly taunting me, LOL.  I did like the pattern despite the time it took me to complete it, I just get bored easily. :)

And I also finished up my Colonnade. This was a fairly quick knit & I like the finished result. It's a Free Pattern on Ravelry. I used smaller yarn & needles than what the pattern called for so it's more of a scarf version. That suits me just fine. Now if we could just get some cooler weather around here so I can put these to use.... supposed to be 85 tomorrow! UGH
