Share with us how you know that summer has truly 'arrived', or something that signifies the start of Summer in your world.
First of all & my least favorite, we know that Summer has truly arrived when the heat arrives! And I mean HOT, STICKY, HUMID, yuck! We have very little Spring here, it tends to go from 50/60 to 100 in the span of a couple of days. I know it gets hotter in other places, but just yuck! I'm a Fall person myself.....
Secondly, I work in a tourist based business so we know when Summer has arrived when it gets super busy at work.... everyone is finally on vacation. Except us! LOL

No kidding. It's even worse when there isn't a breeze to move the air around. That's when I just want to cry.
or when the A/C unit quits working :( 108 outside but luckily the house only got to 90 inside! Lots of ice cream was on the menu...lol
