Whiskers On Wednesday & YARN!

Yay! Jazzy & I made it for WoW this week.

This is Miss Jasmine's new napping spot. I have one of these rugs at the front door & one at the back door, she doesn't seem to prefer one over the other as long as one of them is free for a nap during the day. And another evening nap before bedtime/playtime. LOL

And here is a photo of my finished Mermaid yarn! My first Navajo plied yarn. Thanks to Robin & her excellent demonstration last fall. Can you believe that I remembered it that long without doing it? ha ha

I ended up with 280 yards of approximately sport weight yarn. Woohoo! Now, what to do with all this 100% wool yarn that I'm creating.... I mean, I do live in the land of HOT down here. I guess there will be some cooler climate friends getting some gifts. :)It started as this....

Hope everyone is having a good week!

That's some beautifully colored (and plied!) yarn.

I can't think of knitting right now, as the Pacific NW just broke its record of hottest day ever.

My cat Frank and I are just trying to keep cool! I'd like to lie on a cool mat right now myself LOL

Tsk, tsk. That doesn't look like a throne fit for a queen, but whatever makes a diva happy, right? ;)

LOVE that yarn. Do you need some silk/cotton/something not 100% wool to spin for YOU?

That's some gorgeous plying, Anita. I need to get some lessons from you, since all my Navajo plying coming out knotty and over twisted looking. :-)

I guess Jazzy thinks that is a cool place to take a nap. I notice she didn't run from the camera.
