Sock Project Bag

Here is a little bag I made for a bag swap at the Bag-A-Holics group.... this is my own pattern, I couldn't find one the right size for a sock project bag.... they were either too big or too small. I sure hope Elizabeth likes this one, she picked the colors. Oh, I also lined this bag, I hate lining bags, I'm just not real good at sewing! :) I lined it with some fun satin animal print & put a pocket in there. It also has a small pocket on the front & back of the bag, I made the buttons with polymer clay. They have magnetic closures & the main part of the bag does too.... another finished project!! YEAH!!

I love it! Great colors and a cute design. Are you going to publish or otherwise share your pattern? (Pretty please?!)

p.s. The bag also came with lots of goodies. Anita included: post-it notes with Mary Engelbreit artwork (one of my favorite artists), A long slender notepad with a shopping bags design, a honeydew melon votive candle (pretty green and the scent reminds me of spring), a turquoise blue "I'd rather be knitting" pencil, a little gray and black sheepie tape measure, a gorgeous set of turquoise blue stitch markers she made herself and that she sells in her online shop, 2 skeins of Knit Picks Essential Tweed Inca Gold sock yarn ( I've often looked at this yarn, but hadn't bought any yet), and Chocolate Kisses!

Anita is as generous as she is talented!

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Anita,

I have been carrying this bag with my small knitting projects in it to work. I get so many compliments on it and I always tell people that it's made by you and that you have a shop online. several people have jokingly asked if they could have it, but I wouldn't part with it for anything. I love my bag! Thanks again for this beautiful piece of art to carry my knitting around in.
