Easter Eggs & A Puppy

First let me show you our Easter eggs! The Hubby & I dyed them today, he he, he tolerates me so well & definitely indulged me today by joining in on the mess. Such a sweetie! Let me tell you, he has NO interest in crafting (except to build remote control airplanes), he is proud of me & tells everyone how I can create amazing stuff (his words, not mine!) that I sell online, etc... but he usually says no to any invitation I send his way to join in. We tried out the tie dye kit this year, it sucked! I like the regular dip 'em in vinegar/water/dye version. But we forged ahead & got a dozen of them prettied up. His turned out the best. :) And of course the Easter Bunny (aka ME) got each of us a Reester Bunny. LOL

And this little puppy is awaiting his trip to Chan's house to await his final new home with the winner of her bloggiversary contest. Unless Chan decides to keep him for herself! ha ha!

Okay, that puppy is the MOST precious thing!!! Good job! I want a cat version. :-)

We tried the same exact Tie Dye version this year, too. Meh. It worked okay, but not the best. We also got a little thing called the "Egg Spinner" that you squirt dye over the egg, put the top on, and then spin it around and around. That one was a hit with the kids. :-)

The puppy is darling. If I win Chan's contest my cats will make it purr. My pug Manada used to purr. Being raised with cats whats a dog to do but join in.

Your husband is a good egg for joining in the dye fun:)

Thank you for the compliment on my shop. But you must take a bow as well. Your stitch markers are adorable.

The site for the tawashi (Japapnese for little scrubby) is here: http://tankhouse.knitability.com/freepatterns/DishClothDuo.pdf

I love the little things. They are fun and "green" at the same time.

Your puppy is cute too.

I think you need to make more puppies, and some kitties, but I do vow that one will be a part of the prize! It's just darling.

We too tried the tie dye eggs in years long since past. (I think they have a huge warehouse of old kits from years gone by and they rotate them out as "new" again!) Same sad results.

A brown dog - too perfect!

His expression is terrific. Love how you made the 'pull' one of his paws.
